If future social media platforms allow you to choose your own algorithm I can’t wait to see all the weird and funny ones people come up with, here’s some I’m thinking:

Low Bandwidth- Demotes any post with pictures or video, ranks the smallest text posts possible. Popular posts = more numbers on screen so demote for each additional digit in likes/reblogs.

Misspell- Only shows posts from people who’s @ is a few letters off from the people you follow.

🟩🟨⬛⬛🟩- Posts will only be shown that contain the Wordle word of the day

FOMO- Only posts that were just posted that have 0 likes/reblogs can be seen. Once someone interacts its gone forever.

Sort- Posts for the day are sorted in alphabetical order so to get any engagement you have to start off every post with AAAAAAAAAAAAA
